TaTan adheres to the highest standard of user privacy protection and takes the absolute security of your personal information as the core principle of product design and operation. The most important privacy feature of TaTan is that WE DO NOT COLLECT ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION in the whole process of using the application, including but not limited to your name, mobile phone number, email address, device ID, account information and social relationship data.
Since NO ACCOUNT REGISTRATION OR LOGIN OPERATION IS REQUIRED to use all functions of TaTan, you do not need to submit any personal identity information to the application, and we will never ask you to provide sensitive personal data such as ID card, bank card and social account, which fundamentally eliminates the risk of personal information leakage.
All video files you select from your device library for conversion and all GIF files created and generated through TaTan are processed and stored locally on your device only. The application will not upload, transmit or back up any of your video source files and finished GIF works to the cloud server or any third-party platform, and all data processing operations are completed in the local memory of your device.
You have the absolute ownership and control right of all video and GIF files involved in the use process. TaTan will not access, view, modify or delete your local files without your explicit authorization, nor will it use your video and GIF content for any commercial or non-commercial purposes, including data analysis, content recommendation and product promotion.
When you uninstall the TaTan application, all temporary cache data generated during the use process will be completely cleared from your device, and no residual data related to you will be retained. The GIF works you have saved in the device gallery or the Works section of the application will not be affected by the uninstallation and will be completely retained in your device.
TaTan strictly abides by the principle of data non-disclosure and will never share, transfer, rent or sell any data related to your use of the application to any third party, including individual, enterprise and institution. The application does not embed any third-party tracking code, advertising plug-in or data statistics tool that may collect user information, and will not cooperate with any third party to carry out user data collection and analysis business.
When you use the one-tap sharing function of TaTan to share the created GIF files to social platforms, chat applications or other third-party software, the data transmission and sharing process is directly completed between your device and the third-party platform, and TaTan will not participate in or intercept any data in the sharing process, nor will it obtain any information related to your sharing behavior.
TaTan will only apply for the necessary local permissions of your device required to realize the core functions, and all permission applications will be clearly prompted to you before use, and you have the right to refuse to authorize. The necessary permissions include the storage access permission (used to read the video files in your device and save the generated GIF files to the local) and no other redundant permissions will be applied for.
All authorized permissions are only used to provide the corresponding functional services, and will not be used for other purposes beyond the functional scope. You can revoke the authorized permissions at any time through the device system settings, and the revocation of permissions will only affect the normal use of the corresponding functions, and will not cause any loss of your local data.
TaTan attaches great importance to the privacy protection of minor users and strictly abides by the relevant regulations on the protection of minor personal information. The application is suitable for users of all ages, and the use process does not involve any content that is not suitable for minors, nor will it collect any information related to minor users.
For minor users, we recommend that you use the application under the guidance of your guardians, and the guardians have the right to supervise and manage the minor's use of the application, including restricting the use time and the content of video conversion, to ensure the healthy use of the application by minors.
The TaTan team will update and optimize this privacy policy in a timely manner according to the changes of relevant laws and regulations and the upgrade of product functions. The updated privacy policy will be displayed in the application in the form of pop-up prompts or page announcements, and the updated content will take effect immediately after being released.
Your continued use of TaTan after the update of the privacy policy will be deemed as your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the updated privacy policy, you can choose to stop using the application, and we will not impose any restrictions on your right to terminate the use.
